The museum closes at 5 pm on Thursdays before holidays.
During the summer, the café has temporary opening hours: Week 26-31: Tue-Sat, 12-16. Week 32-33: Tue-Sun, 12-16.
The museum is closed on mondays, Good Friday, Easter Monday, 1 May, 6 June , Midsummer’s Eve, Midsummer Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Year’s Eve och New Year’s day.

The museum card is valid at the Röhsska museum, The Gothenburg Museum of Art and the Museum of Gothenburg. Additional admission charge is required for certain exhibitions and events. The museum card gives a 20% discount on exhibitions with an increased entrance fee. The museum card is a document of value and may only be used by one person. Lost cards are blocked by the museum.
Röhsska is easy to access by public transport. The nearest bus and tram stop is Valand. Click here to plan your travel by public transport.
Bicycles can be parked in the lane outside the Museum.
Parking for cars is available on Heden, or in the multi-storey carparks on Avenyn (entrance from Kristinelundsgatan) and Lorensberg. Limited parking is found in the streets around the Museum.
Read, reflect, discuss. In the Torsten och Wanja Söderbergs hall visitors can immerse themselves in Swedish and Nordic design.

The St Agnes Café is located on the entrance floor and can be reached via the reception.
